Well, I have a little time. It’s been a while since the CEO blog was updated.
As early as this year, we have less than one month left. A year is passing quickly. How has the drone industry changed? What actions should our company take in the future?
This is my personal opinion, but I don’t think it’s a big year for the entire drone industry. There is no specific solution that has been newly developed as a service, and we have repeatedly conducted verification tests (It’s very important in itself.). Also, we have not seen any significant progress in the development of airframes. Of course, each company is working hard, but unfortunately, I don’t think companies that want solutions will grow as much as they want. As a result, some companies have left the drone business. I feel that it is already becoming a struggle for survival.
Many people make fun of me by saying, “Do you do drones? You’re making money!”, but it doesn’t really make any money! our company is a small company that is not funded by anyone. How to make ends meet with less money is the biggest theme of the year. We are extremely concerned about the current standstill in the drone industry. In the future, our company intends to strengthen the following systems.
- Infrastructure inspection using infrared cameras
- Help build solutions using AI systems
- programming business for children
- Disaster response
There is a lot of overlap, especially with regard to 1, 2 and 4. For example, the following initiatives are already underway.
Our diamond service is not about making a lot of money. If we can solve the world’s problems by using drones, we will actively help them, build a convenient, secure and safe world together, and pay for it. As a result, we inevitably put more effort into disaster, disaster prevention, and disaster reduction measures.
